Kathryn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England, Portland, Maine, with an undergraduate degree in athletic training and a minor in psychology from Keene State College, Keene, NH. She is also a certified athletic trainer, with work experience at the high school and collegiate level. In addition to receiving her athletic training certification, Kate also was a member of the Keene State women’s soccer team. The focus of her doctoral thesis was evaluating a comprehensive physical therapy program encompassing the use of electrocorporeal shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis. Kate’s graduate clinical rotations emphasized care of athletic orthopedic injuries and most recently focused on care in the general outpatient setting. Her manual therapy skills include joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, muscle energy techniques and myofascial release. She uses a combination of manual therapy skills and clinical evaluations to create targeted programs to improve the function and performance of the individual. In her free time, Kate loves to play pick up soccer and make maple syrup with her family.
